viciouskitty74 SG watched ghost in the shell ii yesterday. my sister apparently has quite couple of dvd burnt down. And it takes lots of sorting thru to really find what I wants to watch. battlestar galactica commander in cheif some nice japanese anime and a rather conveted 'lttle eienstein & rocket' series that a g/f who is a mother would love to get her hands on, for her sons. its apparently very expensive in Singapore.
viciouskitty74 SG and i went to the library today and walked out with 10 more trashy romance novels for $1/- for the lot. And i plan to spend my 4th july weekend just reading and wasting my brain away.
shinta SG er things like visa or what? dun think can stay in a country for more than 3 mths right? or is that applicable ONLY for singapore?
elindra SG Nope Actually I picked up alot of swear words from my boss Boy you should be here to listen to him cuss and swear I think he is the only MBA holder I know who speaks impeccable English but can cuss and swear like the next chao ah beng on the streets His language is more colourful than the Ah Bengs from my neighborhood school
shinta SG hmm if say i use bacon as a wrap for my wong bok... should i steam it? or deep fry taste nice leh...
elindra SG Pls hor in secondary school ppl used to think I'm from CHIJ for some reason Then hor I managed to localised my speech etc and I blend in
viciouskitty74 SG He should meet my mentor. The only guy I know of, with a MBA, that speaks horrid english. he thinks and speaks english machiam like its chinese. I had such a hard time correcting his letters. He always joked that he is chinese ed.
viciouskitty74 SG And my japanese definitely returned to my sensei. The Ghost in the Shell II dont have subtitles.... They dont even at least has japanese text I can read so I was like watching sign language movie. and oh.....watched Transformers in the cinema today with my sister. IT WAS GOOD. Agree that the sequence was too fast. And the ending was actually re-written because too many people wrote in to complain against optimus prime's death. So the movie changes the ending to death of Megatron. Which frankly....feels very weird. Americans do hate heros dying.
stellazio SG HahAHAHAH, but seriously OP did die in the comic and the first movie. Maybe they'll make him die in part 3 or sth.
